360 DEGREES is a 30-minute news-magazine style program that is totally written, produced, directed and edited by Indiana Black Expo Inc.’s (IBE) Youth Video Institute (YVI). A spin-off of YVI, 360 DEGREES, focuses on issues affecting today’s youth.
IBE’s flagship program, the Youth Video Institute, provides services in the field of television and video production, computer animation, computer graphics, and broadcast journalism since 1983.
YVI involves a diverse group of youth representing the entire Indianapolis community. This program allows students to work behind the scenes using a wide variety of production equipment. The Youth Video Institute not only trains youth, but also involves them in worthwhile projects impacting their communities and peers. IBE boasts an astounding rate of success with students pursuing post-secondary education in the field of communications or technology. Many of our youth have received financial rewards and college scholarships through their work.
