expo
The hardest thing during expo was determining what shots you need and what is considered a "good shot". What I felt after I accomplished expo was that I was proud of myself. Some of the most random moments was seeing the celebrities in a different light. The most exciting moment was the teen bling concert and helping shoot that. This year expo was more organized then then the previous years. What I look forward to in the future is doing the same thing but better. :)

My experience with IBE
The hardest thing fir me was making the history documentary. The research, gathering content, and editing, was hard but I can truly say that it made me a better editor and for that I am truly grateful. My feelings after the documentary was over were that I was happy and very proud of myself.
Some of my most random moments were seeing some of the crazy outfits at expo and seeing the celebrities in unexpected moments.I was the most excited when I got to interview Pam Grier because of what she meant to the black community and to women.
Something that was different from this year compared to previous years was that I was much more organized and there was a sense of unity. With new leadership can new accomplishments.
The overall environment with IBE was safe, I think that the parents have to step up and take the responsibly for their youth because it's the only way we are ever going to change the image of the community. We have to invest in and guide our children. Instead of disregarding them, love them, and show them how renew the confidence in themselves.
In the future I want IBE to be even bigger on the national scale, covered on by networks like Entertainment Television and BET.
I'm glad that the founders established this organization over for decades ago, because it's something that benefits people from all walks of life and will continue to make a lasting impact in lives for years to come.

ibe experience
expo weekend was awsome i had a lot of fun but getting up early was the hardest thing for me to do all weekend after i got everything i had to do i felt good this is my 2nd year at expo and this was better than last year i had lots of fun i like this year because we got stuff done and didnt slack off i was determined to get my work done and i actually got it done teen bling was fun
i love the environment that expo brings at the gospel explosion i herd bishop eddie long say that people told him that they should shut down expo my only response to that was that expo is keeping kids out of trouble why would you want to shut it down i dont know i really like it here at expo

IBE EXPERIENCE
The hardest thing for me during the Expo weekend was getting up early and going from place to place to different events. My feet were hurting pretty bad that Thursday on the Corporate Luncheon. After the events that I did, I felt really proud of myself because I was in such close contact with different celebrities. The most random thing at Expo was at the Hyatt seeing Big Tigger in the elevator and he was talking in a silly accent. I don't know what accent it was, but I was laughing the whole time. I was most excited for the Corporate Luncheon seeing that it was going to be my first time going to it. I was excited to see what it was going to look like and to see the celebrities get there awards. I worked here last year as a student. I think last year was a little better than this year when it came to Teen Bling. Yeah Mike Epps, Clifton Powell and other people were there, but we had a lot more people come last year than this year. As for IBE doing something to have a safer environment, there's not a lot that they can do. Having hundreds of officers there is probably the only thing that they have going. What I look forward to is having IBE have better line ups for the Teen Bling. And I would like to say that I enjoy my time at IBE. I enjoy the people and the environment that it brings.
IBE SUMMER CELEBRATION YVI360
I started this program only knowing talent but now that months have went by i could possibly teach you how to edit with final cut pro and even film whatever is given to me. I feel that i've accomplished so much within the last few months preparing for summer celebration. I felt pressure at first once i was told i had to work on the Mike Epps Corporate Luncheon video because i had no clue how to edit and on top of that it's MIKE EPPS so it had to be right. Once I was taught how to edit I felt that I was going to do great on the video. I felt great once the video was complete and saw the expressions on Mike Epps face once he saw the video. It was also nice to hear his feedback about the video which made me proud of myself. Expo weekend was just amazing because it opened up so many opportunities for me especially being with YVI360! It was great because i got to do what i have a passion for and what i love and im thankful for that!
the hardest thing for me was learning final cut pro and wakin up early in the morning. I was super excited when i started to understand final cut pro made me feel like i was doing something. It was 3 most random moments i had experienced. One was when Donaze attempted to dance the 2nd thing was when Will from Day 26 kept saying hi to me and i was accidentally ignoring him lol. And the last random moment was when Olivia and I ran into Mike Epps brother on the hotel elevator and had a long and funny convo. The best part was the basketball game and the teen bling. Something that IBE could do to make a safer environment is to have more teen activities since they are the ones who cause the most problems or be even more strict on the teens. I really had fun during this whole experience! I learned new things, met new people, and had a great time. The best part was me actually being on the scene while everything was happening. That was really exciting. Ben, Starla, and Matt it was amazing working with you all and i appreciate all the time you all put into helping and working with us. YVI was very exciting and hands-on and i will most definitely do it again! thank ya much for errrrrthanggg lol much love sabrina ! p.s. YU AINT GOTTA NUN MONEY !
IBE Overview
This was my first year, staying for the full Summer Celebration, but my third working at it, in general. Everything got laid out very organized. I felt like the hardest part for me was keeping confidence in myself while working on my tribute video for Mayor Greg Ballard. However, when I saw the final product played during the corporate luncheon, I felt so relived. During, the BIG weekend my camera skills improved. I had so many, just random, things on my mind that had to come out. For the activities, people should park closer to the event, and go in groups. The best is yet to come from IBE.
Donaze"3KS"
P.S.
We all have something that we can learn from each other.
IBE Weekend
The weekend was so tight. I made a video for Idris Elba for him to get the Male Screen Image award. I was able to meet him and talk to him a little bit. We then covered all of the events that were going on for the Black Expo. Saturday was by far the best because I was able to meet Reggie Wayne and other Celebs from the Celeb Basketball game. After the game there was a big concert with Dorrough and LLoyd. I was able to get on stage and to film the performers right there in there faces. Afterwards we interviewed the Stars and got to meet them. Sunday night we filmed the free concert and we meet and interviewed stars such as Zapp, Reggie Wayne, and a few others. This past week was a lot of fun for it being my first time and I will for sure come back again. Starla, Ben and Matt were all so helpful and nice and made this past week a learning and fun experience.

My First Post...Possibly My Last
I have to say that 360 degrees has literally changed my life. I have met so many wonderful personalities and have had so many interesting experiences that have broadened my horizons and shaped me as a person. Now that we are working on our '360: On Campus' show about going off to college, I am filled with many great memories. When I was in high school in 2002, 8 years ago now, I starred in the 360 Degrees college show. I also am reminded of my fun experiences at Indiana State University and my visits to IU and Purdue for uproarious parties and celebrations. I am excited for our new crew and I see great things in all of their futures. 360: still getting it in.
360 extreme show/college segment
we just watched the finished extreme show and it was awsome we could have done a little better on some spots but over all it was awsome i like the graphics on the extreme show . The college segment will be better we have lots of segments like my precious segment called avoiding freshman 15 yep thats the segment that im doing its going to be so very awsome. Im going to give it my best to make it awsome like the last one was after everything that just happened im not really standing on my own two feet but im going to be ok well back to what i was saying the show(college segment) is going to be awsome.
At the End of the Road, Imma Be
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! The 360 Extreme show is complete! A show that began production last summer has finally been sent out for the whole world to view. I really enjoyed editing many of the segments on the show including the Dolphin Experience, Buffalo Soldiers, Paintball, and Kick, Push. This show also allowed me to grow closer to my new cohorts in the program. Production still isn't my favorite thing but I gained much experience as producer of this show -- production is more than meets the eye. Nevertheless, editing and camera remain my first loves.
Our production meeting today really pumped me up for the college show. I think we will be much more organized and productive now that we know what to expect. I look forward to learning more about Greek organizations and their cultural involvement. I also am excited for the Voice PSA, which has the potential to gain lots of press attention. I hope to hone my production skills even more during this show and of course look forward to editing ! :) 360 On Campus (tentative name) coming soon!

(Goals]
My goal or my main focus to accomplish is editing. I really want to edit because it seems fun and it seems like it's one of the most important things of 360. Since I know how to work on camera
I want to learn how to edit.
My Goals
My goals are to make at least one show that i really really like and one show that everyone thinks i did really well on. The thing i want to master is talent. And i want to learn how to edit show. Also i want to try to edit one show and make it really good.
unique's goals
hey this yo girl unique here and i just want to let you know that my goals in 360 are. I want to learn how to do everything: graphics, editing, etc. basically I want to be able do anything that ms. starla ask me to do. I would like to try talent and camera i just need to be able to hold the camera first
and you know this man
Fast-Paced Filmography
Cinematography has so much to offer and I`ve only touched base with certain areas of this field such as editing and camera. I would really love to get more hands-on experience with graphic design. I would also like to learn more about typography videos, which incorporate graphic design. Editing is really my niche but I would like to learn more aspects of it. I look forward to more training in cinematography.

It`s 360 at it`s finest -- we got 2 shoots done in 2 days. Yesterday, we headed over to the practice for the Naptown Roller Girls, very interesting. Today, I got to work my magic on the set with my student highlight segment. We had KJ Jones, a student skateboarder, in-studio for an interview/intro. He was a bit nervous but everything went smoothly. There will be additional shooting of KJ at the skate park so keep a look out for that segment!
Other than that, show production is going pretty well right now. Can`t really tell you how quick it`s going to be finished but I`ll keep this updated.

This is such a good opportunity to give me more experience and the chance to work with others.♥
Thursday's Adventure
Today at 360 we worked on the Kick, Push video with (Ash Bash}! Helping Ashley today really bought back memory on how to set up the camera, and how to interview a person. Today was a fun day and I'm happy that were all on track with our segments, and almost done with them. On Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2010) I'll be getting my own segment (When I Grow Up), the smoking PSA done. So I'm pretty excited about going on set with the crew. I think this might be fun and encouraging!

True Life: I`m a 360 Editor
360 is up and running! We`ve been moving slow for a while but Starla Kay is really helping to move things forward. The 360 Teen Distraction Show is now airing on Educational Access so check it outtt. We`re now in the process of producing the 360 Extreme show and I`ve recently been announced producer of the show :). Producing isn`t as easy as it looks LOL but I think it`ll be a great hands-on experience.
I`m looking forward to my student highlight segment with North Central senior KJ Jones about school life and his skateboarding skills. Expect a fast paced segment that`ll keep you engaged.
Now I must go -- currently editing the dolphin experience segment from this summer for the new show. Wish me luck :)

Extreme Show/PSA
Hello, my name is Jada and Im from the 360 program. I've been in this program for about 3 weeks now but, I was in our past program called YVI. In that program my class was taught how to work and use camera work such as video production. I got into this program by seeing a letter in the mail and applied for it because most of the things we do is what I want to become be when I get older. I really like this program because It teaches you a lot about video production and you learn how to work properly for free. So like when you're off to college you'll now the technique and field method.
